An Iris Recognition System Implementation with Error Correction Capability by Reusing WiFi Standard LDPC Codes
The project proposes a method to reuse IEEE 802.11n LDPC codes onto an iris recognition system based on an embedded device. LDPC codes are provided with the capability of alleviating variability and noise for the purpose of the enhancement of the system. All iris images come from CASIA-IrisV4 database for the validation of the proposed system, which is improved by LDPC codes with proven experimental results.
A Novel Iris Verification Framework UsingMachine Learning algorithm on Embedded Systems
In this project, we propose a new iris verification framework for an embedded system which uses IrisMatch-CNN as feature extraction and classification. The proposed framework aims to provide a fast, robust and secure iris verification system.
A RISC-V SoC for Mobile Payment Based onVisible Light Communication
A RISC-V SoC (system on chip) based on visible-light communication (VLC) for mobile payment application is presented. The proposed SoC can be applied to Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals to receive mobile payment transaction information sent by the LED flashlight on a smartphone. It consists of a RISC-V subsystem, dedicated analog frontend, pulse preprocessing module for VLC signals and other modules.
