About
We are a research group in the School of Computer Science at the University of Auckland who are working on computer architecture. We focus on hardware acceleration and optimization using FPGA. Our research interests include:
- Application-specific processor architecture on RISC5 for various applications using FPGA (HDL experience required)
- Hardware acceleration (HDL experience required) of digital systems and reconfigurable computing includes genomic analysis, neural network and machine learning, telecommunication and cryptography
- Fire recognition
- Iris recognition
- Pose machine
- Error Correction
- Software development on electronic design automation (EDA) of VLSI (Excellent programming skill with C/C++ required)
- High-level synthesis for Deep Learning Algorithms
- Placement and Routing
If you are interested in joining our group, please contact Dr Bruce Sham (b.sham@auckland.ac.nz) for more details.
